The junior ladies travelled to Kilmihil early Sunday morning to play Kilmihil in the semi final of the 11-a-side competition.

The 11 a-side game is a demanding game with a lot of ground to be covered by the 11 playing. At half time the girls backs were against the wall as they were 3 goals down.
Unsurprisingly they battled their way back into contention in the second half helped along with a deserved penalty for a very high tackle on Jane Taylor and slotted home by Deirdre Murphy.
As the goals came the belief that they could win the game became apparent and the final score was
Kilmihil 7-1 Clooney Quin 7-6.
The final will be played in the next 2 weeks and will be against a tough opposition that is Kilrush.
