Following two wins from two in Group 2 of the Minor B championship, the Minor ladies are now straight through to a semi final.
At the beginning of the month, they played Cooraclare in Cooraclare under lights in very poor weather conditions and came away with a win by the narrowest of margins. Clooney/Quin 4-10; Cooraclare 4-9.
This Thursday evening they played Liscannor at home in Clooney and at half time Clooney were up 3-6 to 1-1, playing with a slight breeze in the first half. The match ended with a comprehensive win for Clooney/Quin 8-12; Liscannor 6-1.

Clooney have a bye the next round and having two wins sees them avoid the quarter finals. Semi finals are set for early October. Many of these girls are also part of the Junior panel who are preparing for a Junior A final next weekend.
