Clooneys first opening score came from Aisling Corbett and the game very much evenly balanced for the first 15 minutes. Siobhan Halpin replaced Nicole O Riordan  before half time. Inagh got the first goal of the game but Clooney Quins goal broadened  the gap before half time and we had  1 5 to 1 2 lead with Jenny Grant getting the goal for Clooney Quin. Clooney Quin finished the first half the strongest of the two teams.

Points for Jessica O’Neill and Aisling Hannon from play in the second half helped to keep the scoreboard ticking over but it was the 2 goals Inagh got in a short space of time that proved to be the turning point of the game. Clooney Quin created many scoring chances but on the final whistle Inagh Kilnamona were the winners by a margin of 2 points.
