The senior camogie girls got the season off to a winning start. They travelled to Clonlara to play Truagh in the first round of the league. Truagh got the first score of the game and Clooney Quin got the next 4 scores including a goal by Claire Ryan leaving the half time score 0-2 to 1-3 in favour of our girls. Clooney managed to bag 2 more goals in the second half but for a period in the second half the home team dominated with 6 unanswered points. The final score was Truagh 1-11 Clooney Quin 3-9.
