Senior Sevens
Clooney-Quin will play what will be their second game in this tournament as Kilkishen were unable to field last week. Sixmilebridge will be their opposition next week for this second game. The game looks like being set for Monday night in a change of fixture from Wednesday evening to facilitate those who wish to go to U21 Clare game in Cusack Park.
County Girls
Round one in both the Senior and U16 camogie Championship results did not go as planned for our county teams but the girls will be back in action this weekend and all support for the girls is needed.
Orlaith Duggan will line out for the Senior team against Dublin on Saturday. This game will take place in Newmarket-on-Fergus with 2pm. The girls will be without the services of the dual players who also have a Munster Ladies Football final on the same day. Support for the girls in this local venue would greatly appreciate and there will be enough time after the game to travel to Thurlas.
Ciara Grogan will captain the U16s in round 2 of the All Ireland series on Sunday in Scariff when they take on Kilkenny at 3:45pm .
Michelle Meere and Sinead Considine will travel with the U15s to Dublin on Saturday to take part in an inter county Tournament. They will have an early start on Saturday and the bus will make its way back to Thurlas in time for the Clare game.
