Feakle was the eventual chosen destination for the first outing of the year for the senior camogie side. They played Feakle / Killanena in the first round of the division 2 league and they shared the spoils under very windy conditions. The junior camogie team had to cancel their game on Sunday as Clooney pitch was closed. The junior ladies football also had to postpone their first league fixture against Kildysart due to pitches being unplayable.
