This group of boys have been very active in the last couple of weeks playing both hurling and football.
On Wed. 13th April Peter Duggan,Colm Fitzgerald and Cian Guilfoyle held a training session with the
boys inconjunction with a project they had to do for college.Peter’s side-line cuts and the signing of
jerseys and hurleys was a big hit on the night.Thankyou lads for a lovely session.
Our football blitz on Sat. 16th April was canceled but we invited Cratloe up to play 2 very good and evenly
matched games.This bunch of boys really love playing football.
In the hurling blitz hosted by Sixmilebridge on Sat. 30th April Clooney Quin had 3 teams competing against teams
from Ruan,Crusheen and Sixmilebridge.All 3 teams did very well on the day.A big thank you to the mentors who helped
out with the teams.
Congrats to all our boys who played in the U11 hurling competition in the Community Games last Mon. 2nd May in Kilkishen.The
boys played Clarecastle/Ballyea,
for the players,mentors and parents.Thank You All.
Football Training has commenced and will continue on Monday evenings from 6.15pm to 7.30pm.Also a reminder our Hurling
Training has changed from Wednesday to Thursday evenings at 6.15pm to 7.30pm. and Saturday as usual at 11am to 12.30pm.
