The U10’s were in Clooney pitch on Saturday morning to meet the boys and girls form Bannow/Ballymitty Co Wexford and Killimer Co Clare.
Clooney Quin had 2 teams on the day and played both hurling and football with the visitors from Wexford and football with Killimer. Everyone really enjoyed the mornings activities and a special thank you to all the parents that helped make sandwiches and buns and drinks for everyone. Also, thanks to those who distributed the food to the hungry and helped tidy up after. Many hands make lighter work!
The U10’s would also like to thank Cillian Duggan for taking time out of his busy schedule to come to the field on Monday evening to train the boys in football. Everyone really enjoyed and benefited from the session and we hope to see Cillian back again soon.
The U10’s will be hosting a fooball blitz on Saturday morning in Clooney at 11am. We hope to have a good turnout of our own players to play the visiting teams.
