The U11 boys that included some from the U12 panel and the U10 panel went to Kilkishen on Monday morning to battle it out in the U11 Community Games hurling competition. This competition was a knock out competition and there were 10 teams from around the county entered. Our boys played neighbours St Joseph’s Doora Barefield in their first game and it resulted in their last. The boys played excellent in their 24 minute game but were beaten by 1 point in the end. They can be very proud of their performance as St Josephs went on to win the competition. Well done boys.
