The last game of the U11 Hurling fixtures was played last Monday night the 17th Oct. in Sixmilebridge
under lights.
On the night Clooney Quin were represented by 32 boys in two 12 a-side games.
Both the U11 and U10 managements decided they would mix the 2 teams on the night. This worked very well as both
teams won their matches with good performances from all. Over the last number of weeks our boys have played 6 games
against St Josephs,Ballyea,Inagh Kilnamona,Clarecastle,Eire Og and Sixmilebridge and have done very well in all.
These games benefited both squads but especially the U10 boys as it was their first time playing together as a team.
Thank You to all the mentors (Darragh Hassett, Kevin O’Brien, Ronan McMahon, Gary Hogan, Fergal Cahill,Marie Keating) for all their time and help during these
games.
Bring on next year.More challenges but it is worth it when you seethe improvement in skill, the heart and the willingness of these boys
to play well for their team and club.
Well Done Boys
