With 37 players actively participating, Clooney Quin is fielding 3 teams in the U12 football leagues.

Training commenced in February and league matches commenced in late March.
Under the guidance of Ciaran Finneran, Tom McGrath, Richard Mahon, David Rochford and Peter Cantwell, our teams have completed 5 league match days to date, playing a total of 14 matches.
So far our teams have played against teams from Miltown Malbay, Kilmihil, Lisseycasey, Coolmeen/Kildysart, Ennistymon, Doonbeg, Eire Og, Wolfe Tones, St Josephs Doora Barefield and Kilfenora/Michael Cusacks.
The logistics of running three teams is certainly a challenge for the coaching team but the opportunity to provide maximum game time for all players makes the effort worthwhile.
Every match day, every player who has togged out has played a full match.
And the positive results makes the effort that little bit easier.
The Red team have had good victories over Miltown Malbay, Ennistymon and Eire Og with reverses against Lisseycasey and St Josephs Doora Barefield.
Our Green team have beaten Kilmihil, Coolmeen/Kildysart and Wolf Tones with narrow losses to Doonbeg and Kilfenora/Michael Cusacks.
And the White Team claimed victories over Ennistymon and St Josephs Doora Barefield with narrow losses to Lisseycasey and Eire Og.

There are some tough challenges ahead with fixtures against Cratloe, Cooraclare and Killimer to come before Cusack Park finals day in mid June.”
