The U12 girls were in action last weekend against Eire Og in the first round of the U12 football championship. The girls played a very attractive brand of football showing great skills and determination to overcome a gallant Eire Og side. Scorers on the evening were; Lauren Wall, Sarah Rochford, Emily Costello, Sarah Manley, Abi Sullivan, Emma Considine. Other notable performances came from Ella Taylor, Lara Begg and Holly Deegan.
The girls will encounter stiffer tests back west in the coming weeks when they take on amongst others West Clare Gaels. Looking forward to the fish and chips in Coffey’s Kilrush on the way home after another fine performance from the girls.
