The U12 hurlers finished out their season on a high by recording 2 wins in Cusack Park on Wednesday evening. The U12’s played Scariff/Ogonnelloe and won by 4 points and the U11’s played Wolfe Tones and won by a sizeable margin. This group of players performed to a very high standard all year and deserved to finish out the season on a high. A big thank you to Darragh Hassett, Ronan Mc Mahon, Gary Hogan, Fergal Cahill and Marie Keating for training and taking good care of this group by helping to develop their hurling skills allowing them perform in the highest duvision in the county. The highlight of the year was their memorable to Croke Park and this is a memory they will always have. Thanks to the parents for sticking with the coaches in what sometimes seemed like a very full schedule of hurling for a few months. Finally thanks to the players, they are an exceptional bunch of hurlers and management would agree that they were a pleasure train.
