Despite midterm break, great numbers attended the U12 Ladies Football training in the hall this Sunday morning. The early 9am start did not deter the young girls or trainer Joe Brennan from turning up full of enthusiasm. They have completed three weeks done of weekend sessions now and the improvement is already beginning to showing. With the first match scheduled for March 6th for this group, the aim to get to the pitch as soon as conditions allow.

U14’s Ladies Footballers kicked off the season with their first training session in Gurteen Astro Turf on Sunday at 12, under the guidance of Peter Cantwell and Brian Rochford. Fourteen hardy souls were in attendance on a windy wet afternoon, many attending either Tag Rugby or Basketball sessions immediately afterwards. Well done to the girls on their dedication to Ladies Football.
