There was disappointment for our u13 hurlers as they bowed out of the championship at the semi final stage on Saturday the 12th of September.
In what was a close fought and tough encounter the boys performed creditably against a good Corofin side.
At the end of an exciting first half we held a narrow lead though we missed a number of good chances to extend that lead which would prove costly in the end.
The second half was largely dominated by Corofin who went on to win on a 2 10 to 1 8 scoreline.
Overall taking part in the 13A championship has been a great experience for the lads. It was their first experience of A standard hurling and they acquitted themselves well in every match with some notable victories along the way.
The focus will now switch to preparation for next years u14 championship, a campaign we can look forward to with some optimism.
