U14A Camogie Clooney Quin 3-11 v 2-01 Crusheen
Clooney Quin U14A Camogie Team gave a great performance on Wednesday Evening
with a strong win over Crusheen.
Clooney Quin were winners on a 3-11 v 2-01 scoreline
with the strong foundation laid in the first half. The work rate of the team was very
impressive and the clever link up play produced 4 different scorers in the first half. Ellen
Collins 1-02, Saoirse Keogh 0-01, Orna Moynihan 0-01 and Eimear McGee 0-1.
As the second half resumed, Clooney Quin had the first 5 scores; Emma Quinn 1-01,
Shauna O Halloran 1-01 and Orna Moynihan 0-1, to bring their tally to 3 -08 before
Crusheen got 2 goals in quick succession. Clooney Quin however, added to their tally
with a further 3 points before the full-time whistle; Ellen Collins 0-1, Saoirse Keogh 0-2.
This was a great team performance all over the pitch with all girls showing great
determination and great skill and all subs coming from the line showing great impact.
