The U14 hurlers will play their second round of the U14A championship on Friday evening away to Sixmilebridge. The throw in is at 6:30 in Sixmilebridge. They played their first round against Wolfe Tones on Tuesday evening and this finished on a score line of Clooney Quin 1 16 Wolfe Tones 0 7 , Clooney Quin scorers were Callum Hassett(0 10 (6F) , Dannan Fox (1 2), Fionan O’Sullivan (0 1), Niall Murphy (0 1), Sam Scanlan (0 1), Aidan Keating (0 1).
This group have also learned that they will be pitched against Kilkenny and Killimordaly and Sarsfields of Galway in group one of the A division of the 2018 John West Féile Na nGael competition to be heald in Connacht on June 8,9,and 10th. The Clooney Quin team will be hosted by Sarsfields of Ballinasloe.
