The U14 hurlers managed to make it to the top of the table during the week with a midweek game against Ballyea. Clooney Quin had home advantage on Monday evening . The visitors got the only goal of the game early in the first half and the home side managed to pick off their points with scores from Thomas O’ Cearbhallain , Callum Hassett, Dylan Cunningham, Conal Egan and Colm Cassidy in the first half. The half time score was Clooney Quin 0 9 Ballyea 1 3. There was one change just before half time as Liam Keating replaced Danny Murphy. On the scoreboard in the second half again was Thomas O’ Cearbhallain  and Shane Harrison. The final score was Clooney Quin 0 13 Ballyea 1 3.

The boys were supposed to play Scarriff Ogonnelloe this Friday but this game has been postponed until May 23rd. Their next game will be Friday May 20th against Inagh Kilnamona.
