Pictured are the U14 Ladies football team that played Clarecastle on Wed evening, May 27th. The team started strong with a solid defence led by the consistent Sinead McGee and some great attacking play which resulted in Emer Moynihan hitting the net on several occasions. The girls retained a strong lead until well into the second half when the Clarecastle substitutions put pressure on the Clooney defense. Finishing on a scoreline of 8-6 to 7-2 to Clarecastle, this young side showed they will be serious contesters over the next few rounds.
