The under 16 footballers played the Banner on Saturday morning in Lees Rd in the U16B championship and put in a solid performance against a strong Banner side. It was great for the team to get the win after the close battle they had the previous week against Wolfe Tones. The final score was Banner 2 3 Clooney Quin 4 15.
They will play Clarecastle Friday evening in Clooney at 5:30pm in their next round game.
