The U16 footballers narrowly lost out to Wolfe Tones in the U16B championship in Shannon on Sunday morning. They were behind at half time and turned it around in the second half. A late penalty for the home side put them in front again and they held on for the win.
They will play the Banner on Saturday in Lees Rd on Saturday in the next round.
